RED DOT PARAGLIDING – RULES & NOTICES
1. Membership & Participation
- Membership is open to individuals who meet the club’s training and licensing requirements.
- Members must provide accurate personal and medical information.
- The club reserves the right to refuse or revoke membership for safety or disciplinary reasons.
2. Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver
- Paragliding is an inherently dangerous activity with risks of injury or death.
- Members participate at their own risk and agree to full liability waiver.
- The club and organizers are not liable for accidents, equipment failure, or negligence by member pilot.
3. Safety & Compliance
- All pilots must follow club safety rules, local aviation laws, and weather restrictions.
- Helmets, harnesses, and certified gear are mandatory for all flights.
- Unsafe behavior (e.g., reckless flying, intoxication) may result in immediate expulsion.
4. Insurance Coverage
- Insurance coverage policy if offer to all non-competition member pilots.
- Elite membership is required for insurance coverage to include competition.
5. Equipment Responsibility
- Pilots are responsible for their own gear maintenance and inspections.
- The club is not liable for equipment malfunctions or improper use.
6. Weather & Flight Decisions
- Member pilots must assess conditions independently—the club does not guarantee flight safety.
7. Fees & Payments
- Membership dues and fees, insurance policies sold are non-refundable.
- Failure to pay may result in suspended privileges.
8. Media & Privacy
- The club may use photos/videos of events for promotional purposes unless members opt out in writing.
9. Amendments & Disputes
- These terms may be updated; members will be notified of changes.
- Disputes will be resolved through mediation in Singapore.
10. Acknowledgment
- By joining, members confirm they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
